The Town of Needham offers benefits to active benefit-eligible employees and retirees of the Town. The various benefits either have a plan year from July 1 to June 30 or from January 1 to December 31, each year. The open enrollment period in which enrollment changes can be made for each benefit occurs approximately 2 to 3 months prior to the effective date of the new plan year annually.
