Fall/Winter/Spring Volunteering

Needham Park and Recreation is always looking for help running our school year programs.   Please email cburnham@needhamma.gov indicating your availability and which programs or special events you're interested in volunteering at.

Please note that all volunteers must be at least 13 years old.

Summer Employment

The Park and Recreation Department hires summer staff to conduct programs offered by the department and work the Pools at Rosemary Recreation Complex. Summer staff is interviewed and hired on an as needed basis. Most interviews for summer positions start in late February or early March and continue until all positions are filled.

Hourly rates are set by the Town of Needham Personnel Board, and all staff members working with children and senior citizens must undergo a criminal record check as part of the application process.
