Did you know that fallen leaves contain a natural element commonly found in lawn fertilizer, known as phosphorous. Because of this, leaves that fall on your lawn should NEVER be dumped in a creek, stream, river, or storm drain.
To help resident dispose of leaves properly, the RTS will be open on Sundays in November from 10:00am - 4:00pm for leaves drop-off only. No other materials will be accepted on Sundays.
Needham residents with a valid sticker affixed to their vehicle will have the opportunity to dispose of their leaves in the Yard Waste area at the RTS.
