On Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at approximately 2:20 pm, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Federal Communications Commission will conduct a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) and Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA), directing test messages to cellphones, TVs & radios. You do not need to take any action, it is only a test.
