This Wednesday, June 12th, the MBTA will be filming an advertisement in the Town-owned Chapel Street Parking Lot and on a section of Chapel Street, across from Town Hall. This will result in limited parking availability in the Chapel Street Parking Lot on Wednesday from 6 am until 6 pm. In addition, several on-street parking spaces on Chapel Street will be blocked from 6 am – 1 pm.
On Wednesday, residents and visitors are encouraged to walk or bike into Needham Center or find parking elsewhere. Additional permit parking spaces are located in the Eaton Square Parking Lot (on the other side of the train tracks from the Chapel Street parking lot and accessible via Garden Street).
The following Town-owned lots in Needham Center are also available for permit parking as well as 2-hour parking:
- Lincoln Street Parking Lots (2)
- Dedham Avenue Parking Lot
- Chestnut Street Parking Lot
Additional parking spaces may be found on-street throughout Needham Center. A map of Town-owned parking lots may be found at https://needhamma.gov/parkingmap. Parking will not be restricted or impacted in these lots on Wednesday during the filming.
