Help Us Send Some Love to Sunita in Space!
Needham native Sunita Williams’ journey to the International Space Station began on June 5, 2024. She was scheduled to return to earth after 8 days but due to technical issues, she won’t be returning until early 2025.
To let Sunita know we are thinking of her and wishing her well, the Town of Needham is organizing a big group photo of Needham Community Members cheering her on and holding a banner that says “Needham Loves Sunita”. All
are welcome! Please join us for this historic photo that is sure to go viral!

Where: Memorial Park Football Field, 92 Rosemary Street
When: Saturday, November 23, 2024 (new date!) Arrive at 11:30 am - photo will be at 11:45 am sharp! Rain or Shine
