The Town has contracted with Apex to develop the design for Phase II of the Needham Center Redesign, “Envision Needham Center”. To solicit input from residents and stakeholders to help shape the design, the Town will be hosting guided walking tours of Needham Center with Town staff and members of the Apex team. They will gather feedback on various aspects of the downtown including walkability, accessibility, bike access, pedestrian safety, parking, outdoor dining, drivability and more.
The Walking Tours are estimated to be one hour long and will take place:
- Thursday, February 6th from 5-6 pm
- Saturday, February 8th from 11 am - 12 pm, from 1- 2 pm and from 3 - 4 pm
No registration is required to participate. Meet at Garrity’s Way in front of Town Hall at the designated times.
Apex and the Town will also host an Open House for the Envision Needham Center Project on Saturday, February 8th from 10 am - 4 pm in the Select Board Chambers in Needham Town Hall. Stop by to learn more about the project and ask questions. It’s a great opportunity to speak one-on-one with the project team.
