On August 1, 2025, Eversource's Basic Service prices changed to new 6-month prices, and Needham Power Choice prices are competitive in comparison. A reminder that Needham Power Choice cannot guarantee future savings compared with Eversource's Basic Service price as Eversource's prices change every 6 months. Needham Power Choice prices are set for two years.
Eversource's new prices are:
Residential: 14.884 ¢/kWh
Small business: 15.150 ¢/kWh
Large business: 12.078 ¢/kWh
In comparison, prices for Needham Standard and Needham Basic are both lower than Eversource's new residential and small business prices:
Needham Standard: 12.880 ¢/kWh
Needham 100% Green: 15.330 ¢/kWh
Needham Basic: 12.226 ¢/kWh
