Phase 2 in effect July 23 - July 29, 2017: Dedham Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Webster Street and Great Plain Avenue. Businesses and residences located along this section of Dedham Avenue will be accessible. Northbound traffic on Dedham Avenue will be detoured to Webster Street and then to Great Plain Avenue back to the Downtown. Eastbound left turns from Great Plain Avenue to Highland Avenue will be prohibited during this phase of construction. To access Highland Avenue, traffic can make a left turn onto Chapel Street or follow the detour along Great Plain Avenue to Pickering Street and west along May Street. To reach Dedham Avenue from Great Plain Avenue, traffic will be detoured south on Webster Street to Dedham Avenue or South on Chestnut Street to School Street to Dedham Avenue.
Phase I in effect July 16 – July 22, 2017: Highland Avenue will be closed from May Street to Great Plain Avenue traffic will be detoured north from Great Plain Avenue to Chapel Street back to Highland Avenue. To get to Dedham Avenue, traffic will be detoured south on Chapel Street, to Great Plain Avenue, south on Chestnut Street, down School Street to Dedham Avenue. Work will be completed at during the day and at night. This work is scheduled to be completed during the day and at night.
