Engineering Inspection, Design, Monitoring & Laboratory Services for Asbestos Abatement & Flooring Projects
The Town of Needham invites statements of qualifications for Engineering Inspection, Design, Monitoring & Laboratory Services for Asbestos Abatement & Flooring Projects. Information and details of bidding requirements will be available beginning Thursday, November 18th, 2021, at the DPW Administration Office, Public Services Administration Building, 500 Dedham Ave, Needham, Massachusetts 02492, by calling (781) 455-7550, Ext. 366, or online at http://needhamma.gov.
The scope of services may include Inspection and Design Services, Monitoring and Laboratory Services, Construction Management and Oversight, and Cost Estimating.
A pre- proposal and site visit will be held at 500 Dedham Ave, Needham, MA in the Charles River Conference Room on November 29th, 2021 at 9:00am.
Sealed proposals will be received at the DPW Administration Office, Public Services Administration Building, 500 Dedham Ave, Needham, Massachusetts 02492 until December 9th, 2021 at 12:00pm. Finalists’ interviews are tentatively scheduled for week of January 3rd, 2022.
The Designer fee for the identified services, including all reimbursable expenses will be negotiated per assignment, based on established hourly rates and defined scope of work. The total fee of the contract will not exceed $200,000. The total amount of work is not assured and the exact number of assignments is to be determined.
The right is reserved by the Town of Needham to reject or accept any or all statements of qualifications if it is in the public interest to do so.
