   The Town has two annual plantings a year, Spring and Fall. Once you submit this form, a Forestry staff member will contact you prior to when the planting season begins. Please review the Tree Planting program guidance before you submit your planting request.

22. Please read and acknowledge the Town of Needham's Tree Planting Street Beautification Terms and Conditions below. By check marking "yes" on the box below, it means you agree with the terms and conditions set forth by the Town of Needham Forestry Department and that you have properly read the Town's policy.
24. I give permission to the Tree Warden of the Town of Needham for the planting of tree(s) on my property at the address referenced above.

    Tree(s) will be planted following the Town of Needham's planting guidelines. The location of the tree(s) will depend upon the location of underground utilities, existing trees and structures.

    The land owner hereby grants to the Town the right to enter upon said land at reasonable times for the inspection of said tree(s), for the one year following planting. Nothing in this agreement shall be construed to limit or otherwise interfere with all powers granted to the Tree Warden of the Town of Needham pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws, Ch. 87.

26. The Town of Needham will own and maintain the tree(s) for one year from the date of planting. For that year the trees are protected under Massachusetts General Laws, Ch. 87. After one year, the trees would be owned and maintained by the resident(s).
