Needham Board of Health Letter to Selectmen re: Health Impacts of Eversource West Roxbury to Needham Reliability Project, November 14, 2016.

After conducting a public hearing on April 26th and listening to comments and feedback from the community, the Board of Selectmen has expressed concern about the preferred route and its impact on walking neighborhoods. After deliberation on May 2nd, the Needham Board of Selectmen voted to recommend that Eversource and the Energy Facility Siting Board consider the Noticed Alternative Route ("the South Street Route") with variations that avoid the Valley Road neighborhood.
