Candidates
The ideal candidate for this full or part-time, unpaid position, is a mature, bright, and motivated student enrolled in a social work, counseling psychology, or related program. Applicants should be able to work both independently, and as a team member. Interest in working with children or adolescents is required.
Clinical Internship
A car is helpful, but not required. Needham Youth Services is accessible by public transportation. There is opportunity for work at schools, and in the clinical setting of the Needham Youth Services office. Interns gain experience in a number of modalities with children from 1st through 12th grades. Graduate clinical interns play a role in designing the details of their own internship.
