As a proactive step to protect Needham’s 60 plus population and their families against the spread of COVID-19, Needham’s Public Health and Town officials closed the Center at the Heights and cancelled transportation services on March 10 for an indefinite time period.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), older adults and people of any age with serious chronic medical conditions are the most vulnerable to contracting the coronavirus and are at a higher risk for severe illness. So it is imperative that our patrons remain at home and safe from potential public transmission.
Although our doors are closed, the staff of the CATH are working to provide alternative arrangements for older adults who need access to important services.
If you or someone you know is over the age of 60 or has an underlying health condition that makes it difficult to get necessary food or medical supplies, please call 781-855-3629 and leave a message. Our building is closed but staff members are checking messages and will get back to you. We are here to help!
