The Needham Affordable Housing Trust Fund is charged with providing for the preservation and creation of affordable housing In the Town of Needham for the benefit of low and moderate-income households.
Membership
There are seven Trustees appointed by the Select Board. Ex-officio members are the five members of the Select Board and the Town Manager. Additionally, there is one at-large member from the community who serves a three-year term.

The Small Repair Grant Program
The Needham Affordable Housing Trust Small Repair Grant Program provides limited financial assistance to eligible senior and disabled households to help repair and rehabilitate existing owner-occupied units in Needham in order to address health and safety issues. Eligible households may receive grants of up to $7,000. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, subject to funding availability. Grants are awarded based on the Needham Affordable Housing Trust Small Repair Grant Program Protocol.
